    Description

    Our client located in Athol, MA is looking for a Quality Metrology Supervisor to join their growing team!

    Your qualifications for the Quality Metrology Supervisor position are as follows:
     
    • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
    • 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance or a laboratory supervisor role within manufacturing
    • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, or other relevant quality standards
    • Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments and laboratory testing equipment (e.g., CMM, vision measurement systems, advanced metrology equipment, specialized calibration instrumentation)
    • Experience with data analysis, statistical methods, and quality improvement tools
    Benefits you will receive as the Quality Metrology Supervisor:
     
    • $59K-$76.5K/year, depending on experience

    For the Quality Metrology Supervisor position your duties will include:
     
    • Manage and control daily operations within an A2LA-accredited metrology laboratory, ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, customer specific requirements, and internal quality management systems
    • Provide strategic oversight of laboratory processes to guarantee measurement accuracy, calibration traceability, documentation integrity, impartiality, confidentiality, and regulatory adherence
    • Review and approve tool repairs received from customers
    • Authorize and oversee first-piece inspection and release processes
    • Provide leadership, training, and technical guidance to laboratory personnel
    • Plan and oversee audits
    • Monitor laboratory performance metrics and maintain accurate documentation
    • Other tasks as assigned
