    Job Title: Quality Manufacturing Engineer, Heat Exchangers

    The Impact You'll Make

    As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in strengthening product quality, improving manufacturing performance, and driving continuous improvement across our operations. Your work will help ensure we deliver reliable, high-quality solutions that meet customer expectations and support Danfoss' commitment to excellence.

    You will partner with operations, engineering, sourcing, and suppliers to identify opportunities, solve complex quality challenges, and implement sustainable improvements. By applying structured problem-solving methods and quality tools, you will help reduce waste, improve efficiency, and increase customer satisfaction.

    This is an opportunity to influence processes, develop people, and build a culture where quality is embedded in everything we do.

    This is a fully onsite position at our factory in Louisville, Kentucky.

    What You'll Be Doing

    • Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for customer and manufacturing quality issues, helping prevent recurrence and improve product reliability.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify process risks, implement preventive actions, and improve operational performance.
    • Strengthen quality systems through audits, documentation management, and compliance activities that support industry and customer standards.
    • Apply quality and continuous improvement tools to analyze performance data, drive decision-making, and deliver measurable business results.
    • Coach and support employees in quality methods and best practices, helping build capability and a culture of continuous improvement.

    What We're Looking For

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
    • Experience with metrology, gauging and calibration system management experience
    • Experience in manufacturing environments; experience with metal stamping/pressing and assembly operations preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of FMEA, 8D, RCPS, SOP, and blueprint reading
    • Familiarity with ERP systems (Axapta or SAP)
    • Computer literacy and strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to challenge the status quo and drive meaningful changes
