Job Title: Quality Manager
Job Description
The Quality Manager oversees all activities within the Quality Control department in an automotive manufacturing assembly environment. This role coordinates QC Technicians through Quality Area Managers, partners closely with Quality Engineers and customers, and ensures that new and existing parts consistently meet established quality standards. The Quality Manager maintains a safe, organized work area, supports the manufacturing process, and drives continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.

Work Environment
This role is based onsite at an automotive manufacturing assembly plant within an OEM environment. The position operates on 2nd shift, typically from 6:00 p.m. to 2:45 a.m. The work involves close collaboration with production and quality teams on the shop floor, using established quality control tools, inspection procedures, and documentation systems. The environment is fast-paced and production-focused, requiring adherence to safety protocols and 5S standards to keep work areas clean, organized, and efficient. Overtime may be required to support manufacturing needs, and straight time pay applies when working more than 48 hours in a week.
