Your Key Contributions:
- Spearhead and advance the QMS for our premium product range
- Manage certifications and compliance requirements
- Lead audits and drive continuous improvement
- Approve critical test reports
- Ensure excellence in customer-focused quality standards
- Mentor and develop QA team members
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups to enhance quality processes
- Act as the Management Representative for the QMS: ensure compliance and integrity
- Report on QMS performance and improvements to leadership
- Promote a culture of safety and operational success
- Travel nationally and internationally as necessary
Qualifications We're Seeking:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a similar field
- At least 5 years' experience in a QA/QC management role within metals manufacturing
- Prefer experience with VAR and ESR remelted products
- Proficient in quality systems and compliance measures
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proactive in fostering teamwork and solutions
- Dedication to continuous improvement ideals
- Availability for travel as needed
