Position SummaryThe QAQC Manager is responsible for planning implementing and managing all Quality Assurance QA and Quality Control QC activities for Grunaus HVAC scope on a large project. This position ensures that all mechanical systems are installed in accordance with contract documents engineering requirements manufacturer recommendations customer quality standards applicable codes and Grunaus quality expectations.The QAQC Manager serves as the projects quality leader by working proactively with engineering BIM fabrication project management field supervision commissioning teams and trade partners to prevent deficiencies before installation. The goal is to deliver a first-time quality" project that minimizes rework supports successful commissioning and exceeds client expectations.Primary ResponsibilitiesQuality LeadershipLead all QAQC activities for Grunaus HVAC scope on the customer project.Develop and implement the Project Quality Management Plan.Establish project-specific quality standards and inspection procedures.Promote a culture of Build It Right the First Time."Serve as the primary quality liaison between Grunau General Contractor Customer commissioning agents and design professionals.Quality Assurance Planning & PreventionReview contract documents specifications drawings and owner requirements.Participate in design reviews and constructability reviews.Coordinate with engineering to resolve design conflicts before construction.Verify shop drawings and submittals comply with project requirements.Develop Inspection and Test Plans ITPs for all major scopes of work.Ensure quality requirements are QualificationsBachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Construction Management or related field preferred.Minimum 10 years of mechanical construction experience.Minimum 5 years in a QAQC leadership role.Extensive knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC systems.Experience with large pharmaceutical industrial healthcare or mission-critical projects preferred.Strong understanding ofHVAC
