Quality Assurance ManagerLead all quality assurance and quality control activities across manufacturing, fabrication, welding, and assembly operations. Perform and oversee inspections of components, welds, and finished assemblies using engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards. Manage non-destructive testing processes, including visual, magnetic particle, dye penetrant, and ultrasonic testing methods. Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measurement equipment. Ensure compliance with AWS, AWWA, ASME, ISO, and other applicable industry standards. Drive corrective actions, root cause investigations, and resolution of non-conforming products. Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS). Oversee welder certification and qualification programs, ensuring compliance with industry requirements. Review and approve welding procedures, qualifications, and supporting documentation. Partner with production, engineering, and project teams to resolve quality concerns and improve operational performance. Track quality performance metrics and lead initiatives that reduce defects, rework, and waste. Mentor and train quality personnel, welders, and production teams on best practices and compliance requirements.The successful applicant will have AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification. They will have a minimum of 7 years of quality management, quality assurance, or quality control experience within manufacturing, fabrication, or welding environments. They will have strong expertise in AWS D1.1, AWWA standards, welding codes, and regulatory compliance. They will have proven experience managing weld certification programs and welder performance testing. They will be able to interpret blueprints, weld symbols, engineering drawings, and technical specifications. They will have experience with non-destructive testing methodologies and quality management systems. They will have strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Experience within heavy manufacturing, structural fabrication, industrial equipment, or related industries is preferred. Familiarity with ISO 9001 or equivalent quality systems is advantageous. A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Welding, or a related discipline is preferred, or equivalent industry experience.Take ownership of quality strategy and execution across a specialized manufacturing operation.
