Pay: $110,000-$145,000 per year

Job Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Quality Assurance Manager to lead our Quality organization and provide the leadership and direction needed to grow our quality systems alongside the business. This position is responsible for Quality Inspection and Document Control activities across two business units and serves as the Management Representative for our AS9100 Quality Management System.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong leadership and organizational skills who is comfortable managing by the numbers and using departmental KPIs to drive performance. This individual will work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure quality requirements are consistently achieved while supporting productivity and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all Quality Inspection and Document Control activities across two business units.
- Serve as the Management Representative for the company’s AS9100 Quality Management System.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding quality matters, including audits, improvement projects, and joint root cause and corrective action activities.
- Provide direction and guidance to the supply chain to ensure suppliers meet quality requirements and support end-customer expectations.
- Provide hands-on leadership in developing, understanding, and managing departmental KPIs.
- Lead the First Article Inspection submission process as well as in-process inspection activities.
- Partner with internal and external customers to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
- Serve as a thought leader in identifying opportunities to improve productivity and product quality.
- Support continuous improvement of quality systems and processes as the organization grows.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Four-year degree preferred; equivalent relevant work experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience.
- Strong familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Experience managing direct customer expectations, relationships, and communications.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to provide hands-on leadership and effectively manage departmental performance and KPIs.
- Experience with quality inspection, document control, First Article Inspections, and corrective action processes preferred.
- Aerospace industry experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a growing and fast-paced organization.
