Description
- Lead, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Ensure quality is embedded across all operational processes and functions
- Own and maintain the Quality Manual, ensuring alignment with industry standards
- Analyse quality data, generate reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee internal audit programmes and ensure system effectiveness
- Manage supplier and vendor quality communication and issue resolution
- Ensure team training on process control, inspection techniques, and quality best practices
- Conduct inspections and quality control checks when required
- Drive compliance with AS9100 and ISO standards, acting as the key representative for audits and certifications
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent RF/microwave industry experience
- Proven experience in RF and microwave manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of military specifications (e.g. MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-38534) and industry drawing standards
- Hands-on experience with chip and wire technologies, including inspection and quality processes
- Experience interpreting customer specifications and statements of work
- Background working closely with suppliers to implement quality requirements
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain procedures, controls, and documentation systems
- Experience training teams on quality processes and standards
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance metrics and drive improvements
- Proven leadership experience supervising technical teams and quality activities
- Excellent communication skills, including technical report writing and audit coordination
