Quality Manager

Quality Manager - Canton, OH - JOB 26-00667

Salary Range: $70,000 - $130,000 Full-Time Permanent Position with Benefits

A Canton, Ohio area manufacture seeking to hire an experienced Quality Manager to lead a team of quality control personnel to manufacture high-performance building enclosures.

Responsibilities

• Direct, train, and mentor quality control staff on standards, procedures, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Design and implement quality assurance processes covering pre-production design, manufacturing, material inspection, calibration, and onsite installation.
• Review upcoming architectural projects to proactively identify quality risks; participate in design drawing reviews and coordinate all mock-up tests.
• Evaluate new and existing suppliers to verify compliance with required regulatory, specification, and quality standards.
• Travel to job sites for initial installations and address onsite non-conformances through hands-on root-cause analysis.
• Generate quality reports, lead CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) initiatives, track trends, and implement Lean/Six Sigma strategies.
   

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 8+ years of quality management experience within manufacturing/construction.
• Specialized experience with unitized curtainwall systems is required.
• In-depth knowledge of quality control tools and continuous improvement frameworks (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen).
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex engineering/architectural drawings; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel to job sites as needed for initial installation reviews and non-conformance resolutions.
