    Description

    Salary: $19-21/ hour

     

    Position Summary:

    The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting materials and products to ensure quality standards are met according to company, customer, and regulatory agency standards.

     

    Primary Functions:

    • Monitor and review information for the evaluation of materials and products
    • Observe, receive, and obtain information from all relevant sources
    • Measure dimensions of completed products or workpieces to verify conformance to specifications or standards
    • Participate in testing processes to ensure adherence to specifications or standards
    • Collect and sort materials or samples for processing/testing
    • Conduct tests and inspections of products
    • Communicate nonconformance or production issues
    • Contribute to tagging and quarantine procedures
    • Read work orders or other instructions to determine product specifications and/or material requirements
    • Maintain good housekeeping standards and comply with applicable regulatory requirements
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 3+ years of relevant inspection experience
    • Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job such as:
      • Safely navigating a manufacturing environment
      • Extended periods of standing, walking, and frequent bending and stooping
      • Using tools and equipment
      • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
