    Quality Inspector

    Location: Tulsa, OK

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join the manufacturing team of a local client. This position is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, work-in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and company quality standards. The ideal candidate has experience in a precision manufacturing environment and is committed to delivering high-quality products through accurate inspection and documentation.

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured components and assemblies.
    • Verify products meet engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
    • Utilize precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, dial indicators, and other inspection tools.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
    • Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
    • Identify, document, and report nonconforming materials or products.
    • Work closely with production, engineering, and operations teams to resolve quality concerns.
    • Support first article inspections, process audits, and final acceptance inspections as required.
    • Assist with root cause investigations and corrective action activities.
    • Verify calibration status of inspection equipment prior to use.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Minimum of two years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
    • Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
    • Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) 

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in precision manufacturing, metal fabrication, machining, industrial equipment, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
    • Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
    • Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality management systems.
    • Experience performing first article, in-process, and final inspections.
