Job Summary
Nesco Resource is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join a growing manufacturing team in North Ridgeville. This role is responsible for inspecting precision-machined parts, verifying production setups, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring products meet quality standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on machine shop or quality inspection experience and is comfortable using precision measuring instruments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform first-piece inspections to verify machine setups and programs.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints, GD&T symbols, and tolerances.
• Use precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, digital calipers, depth gauges, and height gauges.
• Operate CMMs, optical comparators, and profilometers as needed.
• Document inspection results, maintain calibration records, and track measurements.
• Identify, tag, and isolate nonconforming parts to prevent quality issues.
• Ensure products meet established quality standards before shipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of machine shop or quality inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment screening.

Shift and Wages
1^st Shift (7 am to 330 pm or Noon to 8 pm)
Wages: $25-$29 an hour based on experience
