Essential Functions Ensures quality and safety procedures, instructions, tests are properly understood and carried out. Audits and monitors tests and quality checks on components, sub-assemblies and finished products in alignment with Company inspection plans and specification requirements. Ensures that all product has been tested and falls within standards, measured to specification and is in within tolerance. Tests samples, conducts periodic visual and measurement tests to validate measurements. Initiates non-conformance reports (Material Rejection Notices) as applicable. Investigates and reports production line failures. Communicates required adjustments to Production Supervisor/Manager and follows up on resolutions. Complies with, maintains ands enforces all quality, safety and work rule regulations. Ensures compliance to all Federal, State, Company and other regulatory agency standards, laws and regulations. Other duties as assigned. Essential Physical Functions Must be able to remain in a stationary position, often sitting or standing for prolonged periods. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to transport oneself up and down inclines, slopes, steps and platforms. Ability to maneuver around operating equipment and machinery. Ability to operate powered and non-powered tools, equipment, production machinery and office machinery. Ability to reach within hand and arm length and position oneself to operate/inspect equipment and product. Be able to work in confined spaces.
