    Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector III to join our electronics manufacturing team. In this role, you will inspect products throughout the production process, with a focus on SMT, Wave Soldering, and Selective Soldering operations.

    This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience inspecting, measuring, and monitoring incoming, in-process, and finished product. IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and IPC-600 certifications are a plus, but we are also open to training and certifying the right candidate.

    What You'll Do

    As a Quality Inspector III, you will help ensure products meet workmanship standards, customer requirements, and internal quality procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Performing in-process inspections on products moving through the work cell, especially SMT, Wave Soldering, and Selective Soldering operations

    • Inspecting assemblies for conformance to IPC-A-610, J-STD-001 through 006, IPC-600, and company workmanship standards (note: assembly certification does not guarantee inspection certification)

    • Verifying that materials, components, and finished products meet required specifications

    • Conducting visual inspections and measurement tests using appropriate inspection tools

    • Documenting inspection results by completing required reports, logs, and quality records

    • Identifying and communicating quality concerns in a timely manner

    • Approving finished materials or products when they meet requirements

    • Returning products for rework when needed and confirming rework has been completed properly

    • Supporting the control of non-conforming materials and assemblies

    • Communicating with Production Supervisors, leads, and Engineering when quality issues arise

    • Following ESD requirements, board handling procedures, and moisture-sensitive device handling requirements

    • Supporting ISO Quality Management System standards related to quality, safety, environment, health, and security

    • Maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant work environment

    • Performing other duties as assigned
