The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting finished products, conducting quality audits, verifying compliance with customer specifications, and ensuring products meet established quality standards before shipment.

Our Client is seeking a Quality Inspector for 2nd Shift to support quality assurance operations in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, direct hire position, meaning you will be hired directly by the employer from day one and will not work through a temporary staffing agency.
The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting finished products, conducting quality audits, verifying compliance with customer specifications, and ensuring products meet established quality standards before shipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with customer and quality requirements
- Perform quality audits on production materials and finished goods
- Operate inspection equipment, including thickness gauges and measuring devices
- Read and interpret product specifications, production orders, and work instructions
- Record inspection results and quality data accurately
- Communicate quality concerns to production teams and supervisors
- Support ISO 9001 quality standards and company quality policies
- Use Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting
- Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S standards
- Cross-train in additional manufacturing and quality functions
- Quality inspection experience required
- Machine operation experience required
- Manufacturing experience required
- Chemical manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and production documentation
- Experience using measuring tools, gauges, and inspection equipment
- Basic computer and Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable work history and strong attendance record
- Must pass a pre-employment math assessment
- Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime as required
- Ability to perform physical inspection duties and maintain accuracy throughout the shift
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and continuous improvement
