Quality Inspector (Electronics Manufacturing)

We are looking for experienced candidates to join a leading electronics manufacturing company in Solon, OH. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a detail-oriented inspector dedicated to maintaining high-quality standards in electronics production.

In this role, you will perform in-process and statistical inspections of PCBAs, wire/cable assemblies, and final product assemblies in a clean, brightly lit, and climate-controlled environment. Your work will help ensure that every product meets the necessary quality specifications before moving forward in the production process.

Hours: 6:00am - 4:30pm, Monday – Thursday (4 ten-hour shifts)
Pay: $20.00/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform in-process inspections during production on PCBAs, wire/cable builds, and final assemblies
• Complete statistical sampling inspections and document results
• Inspect for workmanship issues such as defects, damage, incorrect components, or poor assembly
• Ensure parts meet quality standards before advancing to the next stage
• Verify products meet work instructions, prints, specs, and quality requirements
• Record inspection results accurately and report nonconformances to the quality and production teams
• Support basic rework and verification as needed, based on training

Minimum Requirements:

• Electronics manufacturing experience required
• Experience with PCBAs and PCB inspection preferred
• Experience with soldering or solder joint evaluation/inspection
• Ability to follow written instructions and maintain accurate inspection records
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working in a production environment
• Experience with small hand tools and inspection equipment

Nice to Have Skills:

• Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures
• Familiarity with electronic testing tools and equipment

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in electronics quality inspection
