What you will do as a Quality Inspector:- Perform routine and department-specific Quality Inspection, auditing, compliance, and Critical Process inspections throughout the plant in a standardized, efficient, and repeatable manner
- Provide training to others on critical-to-quality product and process criteria
- Move boats to various locations (repaint, outside, warehouse, etc.) manually or by pallet jack and assist in heat-shrinking boats as required
- Work on special projects geared towards product or process improvement
- Serve as a gatekeeper for customer satisfaction and a quality leader within the facility
What you need to be a Quality Inspector:- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read drawings and specifications
- Solid mechanical skills, utilize basic math and reading skills, ability to utilize hand and power tools
- Must have computer, math, and reading proficiency and ability to use databases
- Ability to receive and follow instruction
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to perform independently as well as in a team role, possess good organizational skills and ability to follow instructions
- Willingness to work overtime as required
