    Job Title: Quality In-Line Repair Technician 

    Location: Amesbury, MA

    Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

    Salary: $26.00-$38.50/hour

    Position Overview/Summary: 

    The primary mission of the Quality In-Line Repair Technician is to keep the line moving and running smoothly.  This entails inspections of units, completing and repairing them as necessary.  Use blueprints and specifications to ensure that systems meet production standards, finalize units (closing) before shipments, and recommend any necessary adjustments to the process.   

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 

    • Inspect units in process, matching units as found to blueprints/specifications to ensure that product meets production standards.   

    • With a sense of urgency, bring any deficient products to standard, taking an active role in completing, restoring, or repairing as appropriate. 

    • Discuss inspection results with the production team to help get systems into a shippable state. 

    • Take notice of low stocks and ensure replenishment is occurring.  

    • Perform inspections of sub-assembly operations to assess incoming quality.  

    • Be able to support intermittent overtime for urgent orders and end-of-the-month shipments.    

    • Serve as an interface between Quality and other teams: 

    • Collaboratively work to resolve in-house quality problems, complete projects, and implement new technology/tools. 

    • Identify repetitive/repeat issues and inform upstream personnel and supervision, as needed.                                                                                       

    • Recommend production strategies, adjustments, and/or changes to improve effectiveness and/or efficiency. 

    • Promotes and lives the Munters Core Values. 

    • Complete company-assigned training, as . 

    • Other duties, as assigned. 

    Preferred Experience and Skills: 

    • Strong customer focus. 

    • Strong team collaborative skills and ability to work within teams and with people at all levels and in a multicultural environment. 

    • Self-Motivated and driven.  A proven self-starter that works with urgency. 

    • Excellent dexterity and experience using hand/power tools. 

    • Familiarity with OSHA, ISO, and Lock out / Tag out (LOTO), and Electrical / Arc Flash. 

    • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, especially assembly-type operations. 

    • An eye for detail. 

    • Motivated, confident and persistent in meeting project goals. 

    • Able to independently flex between competing priorities to keep the product moving. 

    • Curious, adaptable, and motivated to continuously develop new skills and knowledge

    Required Experience and Qualifications:  

    • High school diploma or associate’s degree in a relevant field, or 5 years in a relevant quality role

    Physical Demands: 

    • Periodically lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs. 

    • Frequently stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, climb, maneuver, stoop, squat, grasp, and reach. 

    • Required to have excellent manual dexterity, visual, and listening acuity. 

    • Able to wear proper protective and safety equipment, such as glasses and gloves, as .
