Position Overview/Summary:
The primary mission of the Quality In-Line Repair Technician is to keep the line moving and running smoothly. This entails inspections ofunits, completing and repairingthemas necessary. Useblueprints and specifications to ensure thatsystemsmeet production standards, finalizeunits (closing) before shipments,andrecommend any necessary adjustmentsto theprocess.
Essential Functionsand Responsibilities:
Inspect units in process, matching units as found to blueprints/specifications to ensure that product meets production standards.
With a sense of urgency, bringanydeficient products tostandard,taking an active role incompleting, restoring, or repairingas appropriate.
Discuss inspection results with the production team to help get systems into a shippable state.
Take notice oflow stocksand ensure replenishment is occurring.
Perform inspectionsof sub-assembly operationsto assessincomingquality.
Be able to supportintermittentovertimeforurgent orders andend-of-the-month shipments.
Serve as an interface between Quality and other teams:

Identifyrepetitive/repeat issues and inform upstream personnel and supervision, as needed.
Recommend production strategies, adjustments, and/or changes toimprove effectiveness and/or efficiency.

PreferredExperienceand Skills:
Strong customer focus.
Strong teamcollaborative skills and ability to work within teamsand withpeople at all levels and in a multicultural environment.

Excellent dexterity and experience using hand/power tools.
Familiarity withOSHA,ISO, andLock out / Tag out (LOTO), andElectrical / Arc Flash.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, especially assembly-type operations.
An eye for detail.
Motivated,confidentand persistent in meeting project goals.
Able to independently flex between competing priorities to keepthe productmoving.
Curious, adaptable, and motivated to continuously develop new skills and knowledge
Required Experienceand Qualifications:
High school diplomaorassociate’sdegreein a relevant field, or5 years in arelevantquality role
PhysicalDemands:
Periodicallylift,push,and/orpull up to 50 lbs.
Frequently stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, climb, maneuver, stoop, squat, grasp, and reach.
Required to haveexcellent manual dexterity,visual,andlisteningacuity.
Ableto wear proper protective and safety equipment,such as glasses and gloves,as.
