Description

We're seeking an experienced and detail-oriented RN Supervisor to support quality improvement initiatives, clinical operations, and workflow optimization within a busy Adult Primary Care environment.

This role is ideal for a nurse leader who enjoys chart reviews, quality audits, analytics, workflow improvement, staff coaching, and collaborating with physicians to improve patient care processes. The successful candidate will serve as a clinical resource and quality champion, helping ensure consistency, efficiency, and excellence across patient messaging and clinical workflows.

Job Responsibilities

 

 

  • Supervise and support a team of approximately 60 clinical staff, including RNs, LVNs, and Medical Assistants.
  • Conduct quality audits, chart reviews, and clinical documentation reviews to ensure adherence to established standards and best practices.
  • Review and evaluate patient messaging workflows within Epic and HealthConnect, providing feedback and recommendations to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Monitor approximately 80-100 patient messages per month for accuracy, appropriateness, and workflow compliance.
  • Partner with physicians and clinical leadership to implement feedback, improve workflow performance, and promote quality outcomes.
  • Analyze trends, identify process gaps, and recommend workflow improvements using data-driven approaches.
  • Coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to clinical staff to support professional development and performance improvement.
  • Assist with developing and delivering staff education related to messaging workflows, clinical documentation, quality standards, and operational best practices.
  • Facilitate team communication and support continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and patient privacy standards.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum three (3) years of nursing experience in Primary Care, Ambulatory Care,
  • Population Health, Care Management, Utilization Management, Quality Improvement, or a related outpatient setting.
  • Minimum one (1) year of leadership, supervisory, charge nurse, or team lead experience.
    Experience conducting chart audits, quality reviews, and clinical documentation reviews.
  • Hands-on experience with Epic and HealthConnect, including In-Basket message management, chart review, and workflow analysis.
  • Experience coaching and providing feedback to clinical staff.
  • Strong understanding of patient messaging workflows and clinical communication processes.
  • Bachelor' s in Nursing highly preferred
