Quality Improvement AssociateDepartment: RadiologyMain FunctionResponsible for assisting in the collection, analysis, and monitoring of data used to assess compliance with regulatory requirements, operations, and policies within the Radiology Department. Provides clerical and administrative support within a team environment.Duties and ResponsibilitiesQuality Improvement- General understanding of medical terminology and EMR systems- Supports quality improvement and compliance initiatives- Identifies compliance gaps and improvement opportunities- Assists with performance improvement projectsClerical- Answers phones professionally and courteously- Takes messages and communicates information appropriately- Communicates effectively with internal and external customers- Serves as department receptionist and supports visitorsOther Responsibilities- Maintains confidentiality- Attends meetings and required trainings- Demonstrates strong customer service skillsEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent required; medical or hospital experience preferred.Experience- Strong organizational and customer service skills- Experience with Microsoft OfficePhysical DemandsWalking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 lbs.Exposure CategoryCategory III - no exposure to blood/body fluids.
