Position Summary:
The Quality Improvement and Compliance Senior Manager (QICSM is responsible for leading Arizona's Children Association's quality improvement, compliance, and risk management initiatives to ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance. This role reports to the Chief Operations Officer and develops, implements, and oversees the agency's Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) Plan, Corporate Compliance Plan, and Risk Management Plan while promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement across the organization. For the purpose of organizational independence, this position also has a direct line to the Governance Committee of the Board as needed.
The QICSM provides centralized oversight, analysis, and reporting of quality, compliance, and performance data to agency leadership and stakeholders, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and procedures, federal and state regulations, contractual requirements, and accreditation standards. This position coordinates all licensing and accreditation activities and serves as the primary resource for statewide staff on compliance, licensing, accreditation, PQI initiatives, case review processes, and contract deliverables.
In addition, the QICSM supervises staff responsible for monitoring and reporting program outcomes to ensure compliance with contract and grant requirements. The position also serves as the agency's HIPAA Privacy Officer, overseeing privacy compliance, translation and language access services, and data validation processes to support accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and high-quality service delivery.
Annual Salary: $65,000.00-$75,000.00
