Job Title: Quality Environmental Monitoring Specialist (3rd Shift)
Job Description
The Quality Environmental Monitoring Specialist supports the manufacture of medical and personal care products by performing routine and specialized environmental monitoring in cleanrooms and controlled areas on 3rd shift. This role focuses on collecting and documenting environmental samples, supporting investigations and quality activities, and helping maintain compliance with GMP and regulatory expectations. It offers the opportunity to be part of an expanding environmental monitoring program with long‑term potential to grow into broader quality assurance and quality engineering responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
High school graduate or GED required
Associate or bachelor's degree in biology, microbiology, or a science related field (preferred)
1 to 2 years of work experience within a manufacturing environment, with GMP experience needed.
Prefer 4-5 years+ in the industry.
Attention to detail in relation to sampling techniques, with previous experience with environmental monitoring and aseptic technique is required.

This is a Contract position based out of Waukegan, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr.
