Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
Location: Austin, TX | Contract-to-Hire, 100% onsite

Synigent is seeking Senior and Lead Quality Assurance Engineers for our client in the Austin region to support the development and validation of advanced UAV and autonomous systems. This role will be responsible for designing and executing test strategies, identifying product defects, validating system performance, and helping ensure products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and compliance.

The ideal candidate has experience testing complex hardware and software systems, performing root-cause analysis, and collaborating with engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key Requirements:

• Experience developing and executing test plans and validation strategies
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
• Experience with hardware, software, or system-level testing
• Ability to analyze requirements, identify risks, and verify product performance
• Experience working within structured quality and product development environments

Preferred Experience:

• Aerospace, defense, robotics, autonomous systems, or advanced manufacturing industries
• Automated testing, CI/CD environments, or Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing
• Product reliability, compliance, and validation programs
• Cross-functional collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams
