    Position Overview: The purpose of this position is to assist in the design and implementation of policies and procedures for testing/inspecting/evaluating the precision and accuracy of products manufactured by Marle Elite; providing support to Operations and Engineering; ensure Marle’s requirements are met while meeting the requirements of the quality policy and quality objectives.
     
    Essential Job Functions: 
    1. Develop and maintain in-house quality inspection plans for all current and future customer products to include appropriate gauging, measurement and testing equipment.
    2. Assist in the receiving, in-process, and finished inspection of components, assemblies and raw materials as required.
    3. Lead internal audits.
    4. Provide customer-related quality and regulatory support.
    5. Handle customer returns and complaints and assist with root cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
    6. Determine whether product conforms to product specification.
    7. Document and maintain setup-tooling sheets for all projects.
    8. Initiate non-conformance reports as required.
    9. Train other Elite-Medical employees in proper procedures.
    10. Promote continuous improvement of processes under his/her supervision.
    11. Follow Marle’s environmental and safety procedures.
    12. Work with all departments to aid as necessary.
    13. Follow written and verbal directions from company officers.
    14. Perform non-routine tasks assigned by supervisor and/or company officers.
    Qualifications Requirements: Technical Degree from a four-year college or a two-year degree from a technical school or be a certified Quality Engineer with 2 + years of work experience; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
     
    Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and/or stand for long periods at the operator’s station/work area and walk from and to various machines within the operator’s area.  The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers to feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
