About the Role

As a Quality Engineering Manager - Travel Domain, you will make an impact by leading functional analysis, API testing strategy, and test automation initiatives across airline reservation and travel distribution platforms. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, development teams, and quality engineering professionals to deliver high-quality business solutions.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Lead functional analysis and quality engineering initiatives for airline reservation and travel distribution systems.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate complex business requirements into functional and testing solutions.
  • Define and oversee REST API testing strategies to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
  • Drive test automation design and implementation using Katalon Studio and industry best practices.
  • Provide leadership, governance, and quality oversight to ensure successful program delivery across multiple workstreams.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered

  • Strong experience in the Travel and Airline domain.
  • Deep understanding of airline reservation and travel distribution systems.
  • Hands-on experience with REST API testing and analysis.
  • Proven experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks using Katalon Studio.
  • Strong analytical, requirement-gathering, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working directly with business users and translating business needs into functional solutions.

  • Experience with end-to-end testing of airline booking and reservation platforms.
  • Knowledge of travel industry standards and distribution technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Experience working in complex enterprise environments.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until September 18,2026.

The annual salary for this position is between $83,250- $131,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
