Quality Engineer
Project Description
The Quality Engineer (QE) will enhance and monitor quality standards within a USFC Distribution Fulfillment Center. This role includes conducting quality audits, analyzing data, identifying issues, and drive process an cost improvements.
The Quality Engineer will be pivotal in driving Quality excellence by leading corrective action measures through comprehensive Root Cause Analysis (RCA). This vital position is essential for maintaining the highest standards of product quality, ensuring strict compliance with regulations, and significantly enhancing customer satisfaction. Success in this role demands collaboration with cross-functional teams, where strong analytical and problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional communication abilities are imperative. Key responsibilities include developing, enhancing and improving robust quality control procedures and standards, conducting regular inspections of processes, reviewing documentation, and rigorously evaluating products to ensure adherence to established quality standards. The engineer will also analyze quality trends and assess supplier quality, working collaboratively with engineering, production, and other USFC Fulfillment departments to tackle quality concerns and spearhead improvement initiatives.
Effectively managing the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) by looking at internal and external failure costs driving out process inefficiencies. Outstanding organizational skills are key to achieving these objectives. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Proficiencies: Include but are not limited to MS Office, familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems / Operations), and practical problem-solving skills.
