Job Description

Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns and product-related issues. Investigate customer complaints and coordinate effective corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and commercial teams to resolve product quality challenges. Support customer return evaluations and root cause investigations. Participate in product quality planning activities to ensure customer requirements are met. Analyse quality performance data and identify opportunities for process improvement. Utilise quality tools and methodologies to reduce defects, scrap, and overall process variation. Develop and maintain quality documentation, procedures, and inspection requirements. Conduct and support process, product, and quality system audits. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the operation. Assist in maintaining and enhancing the quality management system. Prepare reports and communicate quality metrics and findings to key stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent quality engineering experience. Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong understanding of quality tools, methodologies, and problem-solving techniques. Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action processes. Familiarity with ISO-based quality management systems. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams. Strong organisational and time management skills. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement. Results-driven with a high level of personal accountability.
