    Quality Engineer – Gas Turbine Manufacturing

    Sedalia, MO | Relocation Assistance Available-Onsite 5 days a week 

    $100K–$115K Base Salary

    We are partnering with a growing leader in the aeroderivative gas turbine industry that is expanding its manufacturing operations and looking to add a Quality Engineer to support new manufacturing and machining operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on in a manufacturing environment and wants to work closely with engineering, operations, machining teams, and supplier quality to drive process improvements, reduce defects, and support high-performance turbine manufacturing.

     

    What You’ll Be Doing:
    • Support manufacturing and machining quality operations on the shop floor
    • Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations teams to resolve quality issues
    • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions (RCA/CAPA)
    • Manage NCR activity and drive continuous improvement initiatives
    • Support ISO 9001 and internal QMS compliance
    • Work cross-functionally with suppliers, engineering, and production teams
    • Help improve process capability, manufacturing quality, and operational efficiency
    What We’re Looking For:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
    • 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing or machining environments
    • Experience with ISO 9001, NCRs, RCA/CAPA, and quality systems
    • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and machining operations
    • Gas turbine, aerospace, rotating equipment, or heavy manufacturing experience highly preferred
    • Strong target backgrounds include:
      • Gas turbines
      • Aerospace
      • Oil & Gas manufacturing
      • Precision machining
      • Heavy industrial manufacturing
