    Quality Engineer – Manufacturing

    San Antonio, TX | Full-time- Onsite

    About This Opportunity

    An established manufacturer of electronic control systems for industrial engines and equipment is seeking a Quality Engineer for their growing manufacturing quality team in San Antonio, TX.

    What You'll Do

    • Monitor and analyze production processes and quality metrics to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
    • Lead root cause analysis on manufacturing non-conformances using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone, and 8D
    • Partner with suppliers to resolve incoming quality issues and drive corrective action
    • Work cross-functionally with process engineering, design engineering, and production teams to implement and validate corrective actions
    • Support new product introduction by ensuring quality requirements are built into new processes
    • Validate and support calibration of inspection tools, test equipment, and testers used on the production floor
    • Participate in supplier quality audits, risk assessments (FMEA, control plans), and continuous improvement initiatives

    What You Bring

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or a related engineering discipline (or equivalent experience)
    • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, or production support
    • Hands-on experience with root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies
    • Comfortable working directly on a production floor, not solely in an office setting
    • A collaborative, partnership-oriented approach to working with suppliers and production teams
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
