We are looking for a talented Quality Engineer to join our team and help maintain our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

    Position Overview:

    The Quality Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring our aerospace components meet the highest quality standards and comply with customer and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PPAPs (Production Part Approval Process), FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning). This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and customers, to drive continuous improvement and maintain product quality.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage PPAP submissions, including preparing all necessary documentation to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
    • Develop, review, and maintain FMEAs, ensuring potential failure modes are identified and mitigated effectively.
    • Implement and oversee APQP activities to ensure product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
    • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions to address quality issues.
    • Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure quality is built into products and processes from the start.
    • Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and other relevant quality standards.
    • Support customer quality requirements, including managing customer complaints, returns, and non-conformance reports.
    • Utilize statistical tools such as SPC (Statistical Process Control) and data analysis to monitor and improve processes.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
    • Support supplier quality management, including audits, PPAP reviews, and performance monitoring.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Minimum of 3 years of quality engineering experience in the aerospace manufacturing industry or a similarly regulated field.
    • Strong knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, and APQP processes.
    • Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, and other relevant quality standards.
    • Proficient in quality tools such as SPC, MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis), and root cause analysis.
    • Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and blueprint interpretation.
    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software (e.g., ERP/MRP systems).
    • ASQ (American Society for Quality) certification is a plus (e.g., CQE, CQA).
