Responsibilities:

• Lead plant quality activities and support APQP and new product launches.
• Develop and maintain Control Plans, work instructions, and quality documentation.
• Prepare and coordinate PPAP submissions.
• Support compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer requirements.
• Partner with suppliers, customers, engineering, and manufacturing to resolve quality issues.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone methodologies.
• Drive continuous improvement in product quality and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent education and experience.
• 3+ years of automotive Quality Engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and SPC.
• Experience with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to be on-site in Morganfield, KY 5 days per week.
