Our company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our engineering processes and products meet established quality standards. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects and technologies. The successful candidate will have the chance to work with a team of skilled professionals in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures in each product development phase.
2. Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
3. Analyze and evaluate manufacturing methods and engineering specifications for improvement.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, define and solve trending or potential quality problems.
5. Develop training materials and conduct training sessions on quality control activities.
6. Participate in the review of engineering designs to contribute quality requirements and considerations.
7. Assist in the development and implementation of quality metrics for assessing the effectiveness of the quality management system.
8. Document, investigate, and resolve quality issues, ensuring root causes are understood and corrective actions are implemented.
9. Validate quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is required.
2. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineer role or similar.
3. Experience in the defense or aerospace industry is a plus.
4. Strong knowledge and experience with ISO 9001.
5. Excellent ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
6. Solid understanding of quality control concepts and methodologies.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to a range of audiences.
9. Proficient in using quality inspection tools and performing statistical analysis.
10. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
11. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with data analysis software.
