    Quality Engineer
    Location: Monroe, OH
    Setting/Hours: 100% In-Office

    trak group is partnering with a growing organization to find a Quality Engineer for this direct-hire opportunity. This is a highly analytical role responsible for reviewing manufacturing processes to identify quality improvement opportunities that drive efficiency, cost savings, scrap reduction, and customer satisfaction.     Responsibilities:
    • Partner with management to identify and lead quality improvement initiatives
    • Communicate with customers on quality issues and help identify solutions
    • Analyze processes to reduce variation, improve capability, and optimize performance
    • Evaluate process metrics to pinpoint areas for improvement
    • Collaborate with operations to foster a quality culture and apply Lean Six Sigma tools to drive root cause and corrective action
    • Coordinate quality training records and support development of quality management systems, policies, and procedures
    • Communicate confidently with a range of internal and external stakeholders
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or similar)
    • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing quality role, including managing quality improvement projects;plastic extrusion experience highly desired
    • Experience with a quality management system
    • Proficient knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean techniques;Green Belt required (or willingness to obtain), Black Belt preferred
    • Comfortable working independently and within a team, with confidence to speak up and challenge the status quo
    • Strong communication, presentation, leadership, and project management skills, including SOP writing
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;Smartsheet, SAP/ERP, MES, and Minitab experience a plus
