Quality Engineer - Metal Stamping Manufacturer

Serving industries such as automotive, medical, electronics, and industrial manufacturing, they provide comprehensive capabilities ranging from product development and tooling to full-scale production and quality assurance. Our client is a privately held manufacturer specializing in precision metal stamping and the production of highly engineered components and assemblies.

• Issue and follow up on all internal, customer and supplier corrective actions. Generate a weekly report on the status of all corrective actions.
• Assist Quality Control Manager in PPAP's and annual resubmissions of active parts.
• Directs workers engaged in measuring, testing, and tabulating data concerning quality and reliability.
• Control suppliers ISO and IATF certifications making sure those suppliers are up to date.
• Keep MRB cage current.
• Update QIP's when necessary.

• Minimum 5+ years of manufacturing experience within quality
• Experience with APQP
• Experience with IATF 16949
• Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, and PPAPs
• Metal stamping experience is preferred
• Bachelor's degree is preferred

• Base salary of $75k-$105k depending on experience
