Job Title: Quality Engineer
Job Description
The Quality Engineer II plays a key role in driving continuous improvement and ensuring robust quality processes within a plant-based engine assembly environment. This position coordinates quality objectives across departments, analyzes process data to identify trends and risks, and implements error-proofing solutions to enhance product and process reliability. The role requires a blend of hands-on involvement on the production floor and analytical work using advanced quality tools to support sustained quality performance.

Work Environment
This role is based in a plant environment with significant hands-on involvement in engine assembly operations. The Quality Engineer works closely with production lines, manufacturing engineering, and other support functions to monitor processes and implement improvements directly on the shop floor. The position involves regular use of advanced quality tools and measurement equipment, including SPC systems, PFMEA documentation, GD&T interpretation, and CMM operations. The work setting combines office-based analytical tasks with time spent in the assembly area observing processes, collecting data, and engaging with production teams. The environment is fast-paced and focused on continuous improvement, with a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and adherence to established procedures and quality standards.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
