Job TitleQuality EngineerJob DescriptionDevelop and maintain CMM programs to support new product launches and production processes. Troubleshoot and resolve CMM programming, software, and hardware issues. Train operators and team members on CMM operation and inspection processes. Conduct capability studies, MSA activities, and statistical analysis to improve manufacturing performance. Lead control plan development and support APQP activities for new product introductions. Collaborate with customers on measurement plans, inspection results, and quality requirements. Develop inspection standards, testing methods, and quality verification processes. Support production quality activities through dimensional inspections and product verification. Perform internal and layered process audits to ensure quality system compliance. Create and maintain quality documentation including FAI, PPAP, PFMEA, process flows, and control plans. Review and optimize sampling plans, testing strategies, and process monitoring methods. Apply GD&T principles to inspection planning, gage development, and process validation. Utilize Minitab and statistical tools to support process improvement initiatives. Support supplier quality activities, audits, and corrective action programs. Participate in MRB reviews, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement efforts. Assist with quality equipment implementation, validation, and training.The Successful ApplicantExperience in a Quality Engineer, Quality Control, or manufacturing quality role. Hands-on experience with CMM programming and/or vision inspection systems. Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading. Experience with PFMEA, PPAP, MSA, and SPC methodologies. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality management systems. Proficiency with Minitab and Microsoft Office applications. Experience conducting capability studies and statistical process analysis. Strong root cause analysis and corrective action management skills. Experience supporting new product launches and quality planning activities. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
