Description
The Quality Engineer will support the production of high-quality, compliant products through data-driven quality metrics, proactive customer engagement, and strong problem resolution.
Responsibilities
Support proposal and contract review activities
Evaluate and incorporate customer flow-down requirements to ensure alignment with internal manufacturing processes and hardware
Establish and monitor product and process KPIs, and implement mitigation actions for negative trends
Facilitate Material Review Board (MRB) and Failure Review Board (FRB) meetings
Publish periodic customer program quality status reports
Generate First Article Inspection Reports per AS9102 requirements
Serve as the primary quality point of contact for customer inquiries and issue resolution
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Business, or a related field
Experience working within an AS9100 Quality Management System
Proficiency in drawing interpretation, including GD&T principles
A quality assurance-first mindset (prevention over inspection)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
Dependable, with an excellent attendance record
Collaborative team player who works effectively with other departments and customers
