We are seeking a Quality Engineer III to support a major technology standardization initiative within the airline industry. This role will focus heavily on data validation, database testing, system integrations, and quality assurance across complex enterprise environments.
This is a one year remote contract. Candidates must be based in the United States and available to work Pacific aligned hours.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
• Perform data validation across systems, databases, and environments.
• Conduct smoke, integration, API, database, and end to end testing.
• Use SQL to validate database changes and investigate data discrepancies.
• Create test data, document defects, analyze results, and prepare testing reports.
• Support User Acceptance Testing with business stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain automated testing scripts.
• Collaborate with developers, business users, and cross functional technical teams.
• Strong experience with data focused quality assurance and validation.
• Experience testing relational databases and using SQL.
• Experience with integration, API, and data transfer testing.
• Strong knowledge of test planning, execution, documentation, and defect tracking.
• Experience developing or maintaining automated test scripts.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Oracle database experience.
• Experience testing flat file integrations and enterprise applications.
• Experience with TRAX, AMOS, RAMCO, or another Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul platform.
• Previous airline or Maintenance and Engineering experience.
• Experience working within large cross functional teams.
Pay Range: $50.00–$55 per hour, depending upon experience.
