Job Summary

As a Quality Engineer II, you will help ensure the reliability, performance, and compliance of advanced naval power systems supporting our nation's defense. You'll partner across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and program teams to solve complex problems, strengthen processes, and deliver products that perform in the most demanding operating environments.

This is an opportunity for an experienced quality professional to make a direct impact on high-consequence hardware, drive continuous improvement, and grow within a collaborative, engineering-focused organization in Menomonee Falls, WI.

What You Will Do

• Lead and support quality assurance activities throughout product development, manufacturing, and supplier processes.
• Apply root-cause analysis and corrective-action methodologies to resolve nonconformances, reduce defects, and prevent recurrence.
• Develop, maintain, and improve quality plans, inspection strategies, work instructions, and process controls.
• Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams to evaluate process capability, identify risks, and implement practical improvements.
• Conduct internal audits, support customer and regulatory audits, and ensure alignment with applicable quality-management standards and contractual requirements.
• Review engineering changes, production documentation, and inspection data to verify compliance and product readiness.
• Use data to monitor quality performance, communicate trends, and recommend targeted actions to improve operational results.
• Participate in cross-functional problem-solving efforts that improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Education & Experience Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant quality engineering experience in a manufacturing, defense, aerospace, industrial, or similarly regulated environment.
• Experience with quality tools and methodologies such as FMEA, CAPA, 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, SPC, and process capability analysis.
• Working knowledge of quality-management systems and standards, such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or comparable regulated-industry requirements.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, bills of material, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and operational teams.
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach and the confidence to champion quality at every stage of the product lifecycle.
• Experience supporting electromechanical products, power systems, electronics, or complex assemblies.
• ASQ certification, such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous-improvement frameworks.
• Experience working with government contracts, military standards, or customer-specific quality requirements.
