This team member will provide on-site QE technical guidance to the SHIELD Quality and Reliability Engineering Directorate utilizing their skills in the development, manufacturing, and/or sustainment of weapons systems.Education Requirements:Bachelor degree in an engineering field and six years of experience. A Master's degree may substitute for two years' experience.Experience Requirements:Leading or participating in quality management systems and assessments, technical reviews, supply chain management, and production line validationInputs to technical data package development, and environmental stress screeningDevelopment or feedback on statements of work requirements and acceptance test plansParticipating in first article testing, factory acceptance testing, inspection and test equipment validationExperience with continuous improvement techniques and managing nonconforming materialRoot cause and failure analyses, corrective actions, defect tracking and trend analysisCritical characteristics management, statistical process control, and QE materiel release statementsSpecial Skills Desired:Experience with product lifecycle developmentExperience working in an HWIL lab settingsLeadership skills in working with staff and executing projectsApplicant selected must have an active Secret security clearance.
