We are partnering with a growing leader in the aeroderivative gas turbine industry that is expanding its Houston operations and looking to add a Quality Engineer to support repair and MRO operations.

Quality Engineer – Gas Turbine Repair Operations

$100K–$125K Base Salary

We are partnering with a growing leader in the aeroderivative gas turbine industry that is expanding its Houston operations and looking to add a Quality Engineer to support repair and MRO operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on in a shop environment and wants to work closely with engineering, operations, repair teams, and supplier quality to improve processes, reduce defects, and support high-quality turbine repair operations.

This position will support teams responsible for cleaning, inspecting, repairing, and returning gas turbine components to service.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support repair and manufacturing quality operations on the shop floor
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations teams to resolve quality issues
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions (RCA/CAPA)
• Manage NCR activity and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Support ISO 9001 and internal QMS compliance
• Work cross-functionally with suppliers, engineering, and production teams
• Help improve process capability, reduce rejects, and increase operational efficiency

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing, repair, or MRO environments
• Experience with ISO 9001, NCRs, RCA/CAPA, and quality systems
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and repair processes
• Gas turbine experience highly preferred — LM2500 and LM6000 backgrounds are a huge plus
• Strong target backgrounds include:

  • Heavy industrial manufacturing
