    Your mission, roles and responsibilities

    As a member of the Plant Quality Team, the Plant Quality Engineer is to provide coaching and leadership to ensure the application of the quality assurance system to meet customer requirements.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform the role of the Customer within the Plant
    • Coach and train the operator/GAP leaders/supervisors on the quality principles of Faurecia and Customer specifics
    • Champion QSE activities and coach plant personnel
    • Manage ISO1400 & IATF16949/ FES through the FCP's
    • Manage continuous improvement activities
    • Stop Customer shipments of nonconforming products
    • Responsible for presenting, in conjunction with the Program Quality Leader, the initial customer PPAP for all parts produced within Faurecia (Re-PPAP of engineering changes/process changes/in-sourcing)
    • Engineering changes: update documentation to support engineering changes
    • Quality Documentation Update and maintain the control plan and support PFMEA updates with the plant process engineer
    • Manage the Customer Liasons, where applicable and feedback concerns to the plant via PTEPS into QSS (Review and monitor complaint status until closure)
    • Ensure customer/internal complaints are adequately answered, on time, and using FIS problem solving methodology with active participation from production personnel. (QRQC, Quality Walls, etc)
    • Communicate Warranty claims with the Plant engineering and follow-up with the Plant's action plans for the claims
    • Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the company
    • Access and feedback customer concerns through the customer-specific portals.

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will have/be:

    • Minimum 3 years' experience in an industrial environment, preferred automotive supplier
    • Proven competency in Control Plans, D/PFMEA's, Process Audits, ISO14001, & TS16949, Key characteristic management, 8D/Corrective action skills, APQP, MSA, SPC, & PPAP.
    • Experience with OEM specific quality requirements
    • Results oriented with strong written and oral communication skills
    • Basic skills in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint)
    • Ability to work in a matrix organization
    • Proficient level of English
    • Customer Focus; Drive Results; Collaborates With Others
