Fusion Recruiters is partnering with a client to seek a talented Quality Engineer to join their team in Cudahy, WI. This role focuses on driving product quality improvements within a hands-on manufacturing environment, supporting both new product development and existing production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead quality initiatives across manufacturing processes, including corrective actions, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts
Support new product development through design reviews, FMEA participation, and validation activities
Develop and submit PPAP documentation to meet customer and regulatory requirements
Partner cross-functionally with engineering, production, and customers to improve product quality and manufacturability
Analyze quality metrics (scrap, rework, complaints) and implement process improvements
What You Bring:
Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
Required Experience: 35+ years in a manufacturing quality role - preference for experiences with ISO 9001, AS 9100, and IATI standards
Key Competencies: Hands-on problem solving, root cause analysis, PPAP/validation experience, ability to work cross-functionally in a production environment
