What will the work look like for me?
We are currently seeking a factory Quality Engineer to join our Live Events manufacturing factory. This position will be involved with all aspects of the quality management system and will be responsible for quality in the Live Events manufacturing areas. The role will be working closely with other factory Quality Engineers and the Live Events factory to identify improvement activities as well as support long-term corporate quality projects.

Qualifications
To be considered for Quality Engineer, we require the following:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Mechanical Engineering, or similar degree or equivalent from a college or technical school.
Strong oral and written communication skills, good organizational skills, and self-motivation are required.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business communications, governmental regulations, industry standards, and technical procedures, drawings, and specifications.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to management, employees, customers, and suppliers.
Ability to organize workload and prioritize schedule according to company plans.
Effectively exercise discretion and independent judgment.
Physical requirements include the ability to:
Lift and carry heavy (up to 45 pounds) and/or awkward items.
Stand and/or sit for the full shift and have full range of motion as required for the position.
Distinguish and identify colors (wires, paint, etc.) as it pertains to the position.
Work with some odors associated with a manufacturing environment (paint, solder, welding, coating, etc.).
Wear all protective equipment as required in work area. Items may include the following: safety glasses, safety shoes/boots, hearing protection, protective garments, etc.
The selected individual must be able to travel by air and ground and comply with the Daktronics Driver Eligibility Policy to begin and maintain employment. This requirement will be verified through a motor vehicle record (MVR) check conducted in accordance with applicable federal, state, provincial, and local laws. Ability to travel overnight to domestic and international locations.
Fluent in English, written and verbal.
