Quality Coordinator

Hours: 8am - 5pm; Monday - Friday

Compensation depends upon candidate's years of experience

Minimum Hourly Pay: $39.38 per hour

Responsibilities

The Quality Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director of Quality Management with all aspects of the hospital Quality Program.

Primary Responsibilities include:

• Assist the Director of Quality Management in coordinating all aspects of the hospital''s Quality Program.
• Collect, analyze, and present data related to quality, infection prevention, environmental safety, quality control, and risk management.
• Support performance improvement initiatives and patient safety activities.
• Participate in quality committees, interdisciplinary teams, and regulatory readiness efforts.
• Assist with survey preparation, accreditation compliance, and policy review.
• Conduct audits, chart reviews, and outcome monitoring.
• Support root cause analyses and follow-up action plans to improve organizational performance.
• Prepare reports, presentations, meeting agendas, and other quality-related documentation.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with valid state license.

Preferred qualifications

• 2 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation or acute care preferred.
• Previous experience with one major area of responsibility preferred (quality improvement, risk management, infection control, or survey readiness).
• Strong understanding of clinical practice, documentation, and patient safety principles.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrates familiarity with accrediting standards, including TJC and CARF preferred.
