    Quality Assurance Coordinator | Lead Quality Across Two Die Casting Plants

    Ready to own quality and drive real results across two high-energy die casting plants?

    We’re looking for a hands-on Quality Assurance Coordinator who leads teams, attacks defects, and builds systems that deliver consistent, high-quality parts every day. You’ll be on the floor coaching people, solving problems, and raising the bar at both facilities.

    What You’ll Do

    • Build and maintain strong Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949)
    • Lead, coach, and develop quality technicians and inspectors across both plants
    • Own incoming, in-process, and final inspection + non-conformance management
    • Drive root-cause analysis (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone) and corrective actions that stick
    • Improve key metrics (scrap, PPM, first-pass yield) and cut costs through continuous improvement
    • Partner with production, engineering, and supply chain on die-casting challenges
    • Lead audits, support PPAP/APQP launches, and keep measurement systems sharp

    Regular travel between the two plants is required. This is a shop-floor leadership role with real impact.

    Who You Are

    • 5+ years quality experience in manufacturing (die casting, foundry, or metal-forming preferred)
    • Prior supervisory experience leading quality teams
    • Strong knowledge of die-casting processes, defects, ISO/IATF, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA
    • Excellent communication and cross-functional skills

    Nice to have: ASQ certifications, Six Sigma, multi-site leadership, or lean background

    What We Offer

    Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 (based on experience)

    Work Environment

    This is an on-site role. You will spend time on the production floor at both plants. The environment includes heat, noise, and molten metal processes (PPE provided). Regular travel between the two facilities is required.
