Objective
Perform professional and responsible work on production floor by inspecting, coordinating and monitoring quality control of the finished product using appropriate procedures before, during and after process; verify that sanitation, food safety and hygiene programs are carried out through all the process and facility.
 
Responsibilities:

• Inspect the quality standards for rice according to the procedures based on USDA.
• Monitor sanitation inspections of all production areas and equipment.
• Verify that Good Manufacturing Practices are been followed by all personnel.
• Initiates problem solving with production supervisors in response to quality-related production problems.
• Follow the sampling procedures according to the Quality Manual.
• Keep production and quality records updated per area for each shift and production day.
• Prepare specific samples requested for sales department.
• Verify that each shipment meets customer quality requirements: labeling, packaging, shipping conditions.
• Verify the weight of the finished product meets customers’ requirements.
• Review all the lot documentation, relating to production and quality control (COAs) before the decision to release the product for shipping and distribution.
• Inspect that equipment and controls are performed according to allergen and organic programs.
• Retain a sample of the analyzed product and packaging materials used during a production day.
• Monitor the Critical Control Points (CCPs) according to the procedures of the HACCP program (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points).
• Use, when necessary, the ON HOLD forms for product out of specifications, according with the procedure.
• Identify when product is out of specifications.
• Work with USDA inspector when needed. Properly following all GMP’s at all times including allergen cross contamination (including Gluten), handwashing, hair net/beard net. 
• Ensuring all Safety requirements are followed at all times.
