Job Responsibilities
Perform quality control inspections, checks and tests during the manufacture of products
Inspect the quality of products according to standards
Preparation of materials and products for testing
Testall products and raw materials and record results
Sampling and reduction of samples
Compiles, interprets and analyze results, tests reports and makes recommendations for improving processes
Calculate adjustments needed to correct the product if necessary
Support manufacturing team in producing the highest quality products
Know all ASTM standards that apply and ensure all products meet these standards
Execute Daily and Business fundamentals
Willing and able to cross-train on other aspects of the production process
Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Ability to read and comprehend simple operating instructions and safety procedures
Familiar with manufacturing lab equipment
Knowledge of ASTM standards for manufactured concrete products
Manufacturing/industrial environment experience preferred
Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Experience with Microsoft Office software
While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time
Ability to lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds each, with assistance if needed, at heights from floor level to 4 feet high
Must wear company provided personal protective equipment - earplugs, hard hat, safety boots/shoes, and protective glasses . Candidates must provide their own safety boots/shoes upon hire and will be eligible to participate in Safety Boots/Shoe Reimbursement Program after 30 days of employment.
