Quality Control Technician SWING – Urgently hiring in Salem!
Job Title: Quality Control Technician SWING
Pay: $19/hr
Hours: Monday - Friday (Shifts run between 4pm-4am)
Start Date: ASAP

You'll work closely with the Quality Control Supervisor to perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of food products. You will inspect products at different stages of production and record observations, offering recommendations to improve processes.

What You'll Do
As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for
  • Picking up paperwork and tool kits for line setup
  • Ensuring the line is prepared for all quality testing, including but not limited to setting up inspection parameters
  • Performing inspections to verify all defined parameters are met before starting production
  • Making necessary adjustments if parameters are unacceptable to meet quality standards
  • Immediately notifying the Supervisor of any issues that arise during production
  • Pulling post-production samples within 24 hours for testing and documenting results
  • Submitting all paperwork accurately into the QA Supervisor’s office

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have
  • LAB experience of some kind, with familiarity working in testing environments
  • Experience in a food production facility is helpful but not mandatory
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Reading proficiency to understand instructions, manuals, and procedures
  • Mathematical skills to perform basic calculations like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to interpret instructions provided in various formats (written, oral, diagram, or schedule)
  • Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
